Case study · Ed-tech modernization

Ekeeda: there was more to modernize than the interface.

The brief

Move the experience, infrastructure, and operations at once.

Ekeeda needed more than a fresh coat of paint on the front end. With learners across academic, competitive, professional, and skill-based courses, the learner experience, the infrastructure underneath it, and the internal operations all had to move at the same time.

What we built

Modernization above and below the interface.

  • Legacy-to-cloud migrationMoving the platform off older .NET infrastructure onto a cloud foundation.
  • Redesigned learner portal and applicationsClearer course discovery and progression across different programme types.
  • HRMS integrationConnecting internal employee and operations processes into the wider digital platform.
  • CRM integrationLinking customer-relationship activity into the learner-facing experience.

What the engagement delivered

A modern foundation that reaches the real operation.

A learner experience on a cloud-based foundation, with HRMS and CRM no longer stranded on their own. The part students see and the systems behind it had to move together, or neither one would have mattered much on its own.

Credits and boundaries

The platform was ours. The learning was theirs.

The platform, portal, and integration work was ours; Ekeeda's course content and instructors are Ekeeda's.

Real users and real legacy constraints at the same time is a much more common starting point for us than a clean slate.
