Design & Code is committed to making designandcode.tech usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology.
Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. This site is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable navigation and forms, visible focus indicators, sufficient color contrast, and support for reduced-motion preferences.
What we've done
- Structured headings and landmarks throughout
- A visible “skip to content” link on every page
- Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
- Forms with visible labels and clear, programmatically associated error messages
- Full functionality without JavaScript for all core content and navigation
Known limitations
We test against WCAG 2.2 AA using both automated tools and manual checks, but no site is perfect on day one. If you find a barrier, please tell us — see below.
